Cooper's Story
Cooper is a 3 year old lab/mastiff mix we believe. He is very loving towards people, he wants to be your best buddy. He is extremely strong and due to the nature of his breed combination, is extremely smart and strong willed, as well. Unfortunately for him, he had not been trained or shown the "pack" dynamic in a family household. He needs a person or couple who will stay Alpha Dog and not let him run the pack! He needs exercise and jobs to do to keep his mind focused.
I would not suggest small children due to his size or other animals due to his strong, dominate ways.
He needs an owner who wants a loving, dedicated companion not just a household pet... he needs to bond with a person or couple who "gets" the true meaning of a relationship with a dog of his personality.
He has had formal training with our trainer and is ready to go!
All neutered and vet checked as well.
Right now he is living at our colleague's kennel, which is safe and happy
but not the home he needs so badly :(
We despartately need to place him due to all our commitment to him,
we cannot see him live out his life without a bond to a human!
