The HeartsHerd family grieves the sudden passing of Jeff Dagen. Jeff was an amazing advocate for animals and a kind and generous supporter of our sanctuary. He always gave generously of his time, resources, and the use of his trucking equipment in support of our cause. Our animals always had an abundance of hay, because Jeff donated and delivered all that they needed every year. As if that wasn’t enough, last year he purchased a barn for us to store it in without so much as a blink of an eye. Jeff was like family to us, a true friend who embodied the spirit of giving and compassion. Our hearts are heavy with sadness, he will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Jeff, we will look for you in the stars at night, knowing that the one shining the brightest is you.
